While outside on Brunnenstrasse the Rheinbahn tore up the asphalt and exposed the tram tracks, Ben Mathis, Jerome Pflüger, and Andreas Kopp opened the exhibition "Hit your Hood" last Friday.
Especially for the vernissage, the Hoodcompaneros had developed small starter packs for street artists. The so-called Hitpack contained a mask, a glove, and a large-caliber marker.
The campaign was a complete success. Ben Mathis not only managed to sell all the so-called Hitpacks to everyone. He also convinced all buyers to try out the pack immediately and then lured them in front of Robin Brückmann's camera. You can find Robin's portraits of the freshly minted street artists here. In the exhibition, visitors saw sculptures and canvases by Ben Mathis, canvases by Jerome Pflüger, and canvases and Graffiti Food (mortadella and cheese stencils) by Andreas Kopp. The exhibition can be visited until September 2, 2007, Monday to Friday from 3 PM to 6 PM.
